Tommy Fleetwood sinks hole-in-one on No. 16 for Masters 32nd ace in history

Tommy Fleetwood has joined an exclusive club of golfers at the Masters with this ace. On Thursday’s first round set, Fleetwood sunk just the 32nd hole-in-one in Masters history on hole No. 16, becoming one of a handful of golfers to ace a hole since the tournament began in 1934.

Before Fleetwood, No. 16 at Augusta National had 22 aces, the most on the course. The last golfer to ace the 170-yard No. 16 was Charley Hoffman in 2018, with Fleetwood joining the list this year with the 23rd hole-in-one.

It’s quite a special club, one that Fleetwood is clearly ecstatic to join if his reaction to his ace is any indication.

Unfortunately for Fleetwood, the hole-in-one on the par-3 only improved his +4 to a +2, but the moment is incredibly special regardless. Even better is how the announcers were talking up No. 16’s history with aces over the years right before Fleetwood sunk the perfect shot.

An awesome moment for sure!
