Jewell Loyd hit an unbelievable game-winning shot for the Seattle Storm and you have to see it

Game-winning shots are always awesome — especially when they come at the buzzer. That’s the moment that everyone has dreamed of, at least, once in life.

The clock is winding down, only a few seconds left to play. You’ve got the ball in your hand. You shoot a jumper and it catches nothing but net. The crowd goes absolutely wild — at least, in your vision, anyway.

But Jewell Loyd just did it in real life and it happened in one of the most spectacular fashions you’ll see.

There was 0.8 left on the game clock with the score tied at 102 between the Dallas Wings and Seattle Storm.

Loyd comes off of a pin-down from an elevator screen, hits the top of the arch, catches the ball and lets it fly. She barely gets it off. But it’s off. And the arc was so high the ball actually goes off screen.

The rest is history.

What an absolutely incredible shot. Wow.

Just think about the difficulty here. In less than a second, Loyd has to catch the ball, contort herself to line it up with the rim, launch the ball with enough arc under it to catch net and make sure it has a big enough push from 30 feet out to make it to the rim.

And it gets nothing but net! Just amazing. This is one of the best shots we’re going to see all season long.
