Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder fight reportedly could be postponed due to COVID outbreak in Fury's camp
Fans hoping to see the conclusion of the Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder trilogy may have to wait a little bit longer. There's reportedly a COVID-19 outbreak in Fury's camp that is expected to delay the July 24 fight, according to ESPN's Mike Coppinger.
Fury and three others in his camp have reportedly tested positive for COVID-19, according to Dan Rafael.
BREAKING: Per source, Tyson Fury was one of the people in his camp who tested positive for Covid-19 and the fight with Wilder is postponed. New date TBA. I’ve been told Fury got one vaccine dose but never got the 2nd. At least 3 others in camp also positive. #boxing #FuryWilder3

Fury reportedly received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, but never received the second.
The fight will reportedly be moved to October, according to Lance Pugmire of The Athletic.
Confirmed to @TheAthleticBOX that the @Tyson_Fury @BronzeBomber fight is being postponed to early October at @TMobileArena. Fury is “sick, but not that sick,” an official tells me, but all are “realistic about what this virus can potentially do.”

Fury is reportedly "sick, but not that sick," according to Pugmire. But officials want to postpone the event because they are "realistic about what this virus can potentially do."
Fury and Wilder have not commented about the possible outbreak.
Prior to Rafael's report, Top Rank Boxing released a statement saying it would "monitor the health status of Tyson and his team." In its statement Thursday, Top Rank added that the date of the event was still July 24.
It no longer looks like that will be the case.
Tyson Fury looking for another win over Deontay Wilder
Fans have wanted Fury and Wilder to step back into the ring since the conclusion of their second bout, which took place in February 2020. Fury picked up the win in that one, knocking down Wilder twice. Wilder blames his heavy costume for his struggles during the fight.
The two also fought in 2018, though that ended in the draw. The fight currently slated for July will be the third meeting between the two.
