The Orlando Magic sat out the entire first day of NBA free agency and lost Otto Porter Jr., who ended up signing a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors. Well, they got another guy on Tuesday, signing veteran big man Robin Lopez to a one-year deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The Magic apparently needed another big man. But, this is terrific news for Lopez, who is that much closer to Disney World.

Lopez has always been fond of the Disney parks and now is just a short drive away from Disney World, and certainly he is in line for frequent trips.

Lopez spent last season with the Washington Wizards and will remain in the Eastern Conference. The Magic shipped away Evan Fournier, Nikola Vucevic, and Aaron Gordon at the NBA trade deadline and are in a huge rebuild movement.

They added Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner in the 2021 NBA Draft, and now Lopez, who is probably suited for a bench role since Wendall Carter Jr. came to town via the trade with the Chicago Bulls.

No, this isn't a needle mover, but the Magic are far off from competing with so many young players– albeit, talented ones– on the roster.

Still, let's be happy for Lopez!
