Notre Dame vs. UConn: The #24 Fighting Irish traveled up to Stores, Connecticut but were unable to take down the #2 Huskies. UConn defeated Notre Dame 73-54. A 10-0 run at the end of the first half created the separation between the two teams that UConn needed to create a buffer between them and the Fighting Irish for the rest of the game. Sonia Citron was the leading scorer for Notre Dame, scoring 19 points off the bench. Dara Mabrey added nine points. For UConn, Paige Bueckers scored a game-high 22 points, with four rebounds and four assists.
