LaMelo Ball, Dejounte Murray named NBA All-Star Game injury replacements

Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball and San Antonio Spurs guard Dejounte Murray are the NBA All-Star Game's injury replacements, the league announced on Monday. Ball will replace Kevin Durant on "Team Durant" and Murray will replace Draymond Green on "Team LeBron." Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum will replace Durant in the starting lineup.

Ball is averaging 19.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists in 47 games played, shooting 42.5 percent from the field. Murray is averaging 19.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 9.2 assists, posting a 45.4 field goal percentage.

The 2022 NBA All-Star Game takes place on Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. ET at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
