If you want to get in to see Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski’s final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday against North Carolina, it’s going to cost you.

ESPN put up a graphic this week showing that the most expensive ticket was going for $75,000. A search on Ticketmaster on Wednesday morning showed the most expensive tickets to be closer to $16,000.

Holly Chambers, a Duke season ticket-holder we spoke with, said she knew someone who declined a $5,000 offer for her seat in the fall, but when the offer jumped to $10,000, “they accepted the deal.”

“No matter the price, my seat is not for sale,” Chambers said.

“The demand we are seeing for this game is impressive and speaks to the passionate Duke fan base that we’ve seen play out in our historic Fan Forecast data when the Blue Devils show up,” said Stephen Spiewak of Vivid Seats. “We believe this is one of the most in demand college basketball games, ever.”

Spiewak provided these comparisons to other hot sports events since 2010:

Duke on Tuesday clinched a share of its first ACC regular-season title since 2010 with an 86-56 rout of Pittsburgh in Coach K’s final road game. The Blue Devils also clinched the No. 1 seed in next week’s ACC Tournament at Barclays Center.

The Blue Devils can clinch the program’s first outright ACC title since 2006 on Saturday against arch-rival North Carolina.

“I’m sure it’ll be emotional,” Krzyzewski said. “But it’s going to be about my team. Always, always, always, always.”

ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has Duke currently projected as a 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim believes the Blue Devils are a “slight favorite” to win Coach K’s sixth NCAA championship in his final season.
