The pairings will play best ball on Thursday and Saturday, and alternate shots Friday and Sunday. 2021’s Australian winners, Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith will team up once again in the hope of defending their title. Fresh from victory at Augusta, Scottie Scheffler combines with fellow Texan Ryan Palmer, who has pedigree at Zurich, having won the 2019 event alongside Spain’s Jon Rahm. Viktor Hovland and Collin Morikawa make up what looks to be a formidable pairing, while Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele will recreate the Ryder Cup pairing that saw them go undefeated at Whistling Straits in September.
