All-time shots in the FedExCup Playoffs
A lot can change in a hurry in the FedExCup Playoffs with four times the usual points available.
Scottie Scheffler, who had been in pole position in the FedExCup since winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard in early March, missed the cut at last week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship. That opened the door and Will Zalatoris barged through it with his first PGA TOUR victory in a wild playoff, beating Sepp Straka on the third extra hole at TPC Southwind.
Zalatoris is your new FedExCup No. 1.
Now we come to the second week of golf’s postseason, the BMW Championship at Wilmington (Del.) Country Club. It’s an opportunity for players to position themselves for the season-ending TOUR Championship, where someone will take home the PGA TOUR’s season-long prize.
To get you prepared for the BMW, here’s a closer look at the 70 men who have qualified. The top 30 after this week will make the TOUR Championship at Atlanta’s historic East Lake Country Club. That tournament features a unique format, which staggers players’ starting position by their FedExCup standing. The man standing atop the leaderboard at East Lake on Aug. 28 will win both the TOUR Championship and FedExCup.
Here's a look at every player who still has a chance to hoist the FedExCup.
