With Tom Brady no longer an option for the Las Vegas Raiders, thanks to the legend's retirement, perhaps they will look to reunite Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers.

The wide receiver, who played eight seasons with Rodgers on the Green Bay Packers, did nothing to quell such rumors with a head-turning tweet:

Mine. <a href="https://t.co/1w4jX42A0q">https://t.co/1w4jX42A0q</a>

Adams also posted a play with Rodgers on his Instagram story and liked a tweet with an image of the quarterback in a Las Vegas jersey.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported the Raiders "absolutely" believed they could land Brady this offseason, and may now turn their attention toward Rodgers. However, he noted "there's not a high degree of optimism that they'll get him" and listed the New York Jets as a potential landing spot.

Nathaniel Hackett, who was Rodgers' offensive coordinator in Green Bay from 2019 through 2021, is the newly hired offensive coordinator of the Jets.

Yet reuniting with Adams could pose a problem for the rest of the AFC West considering they were one of the best one-two punches in the league. Adams surpassed 1,300 receiving yards in three of his final four years in Green Bay and led the NFL with 18 touchdown catches in 2020.

If nothing else, the wide receiver's social media activity adds another layer to the Rodgers watch this offseason.
