Kamara, Bengals cornerback Chris Lammons, Christopher Young and Percy Harris were indicted, per 8 News Now. They are being charged with conspiracy to commit battery and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.

According to the arrest record obtained by Sports Illustrated, the man who reported the attack, Darnell Greene, was waiting outside an elevator at Drai’s Nightclub alongside a group of people, including the four men indicted. When the elevator doors opened, Kamara put his hand on the victim’s chest to stop him from entering the elevator, which prompted Greene to swipe Kamara’s hand off him.

According to the arrest report, Kamara punched Greene after he swiped his hand and continued to punch him as Greene tried to escape in the hallways but was knocked down and eventually lost consciousness. While laying motionless, Kamara and the three men allegedly continued to kick and punch him until security intervened, and then they were escorted to the valet, where they got into a Cadillac SUV and left. Greene never hit or punched anyone during the incident.

Greene, who filed a $10 million lawsuit, reportedly suffered an orbital fracture and sustained injuries that led to his needing shoulder surgery. Despite the arrest, Kamara played the entire 2022 season for the Saints.
