DeMar DeRozan’s Daughter Goes Viral for Screaming During Raptors’ Free Throws

While fans were watching the Bulls-Raptors play-in tournament game Wednesday night, a high-pitched scream could be heard nearly every time the Raptors shot free throws.

Fans began to wonder who could possibly be creating such a loud and piercing sound, especially when it seemed to only occur when the home team, Toronto, was at the line.

It took awhile for the identity of the person producing the high-frequency screams to be revealed. But when the person’s identity came to light, things made a lot more sense.

Bulls star DeMar DeRozan’s daughter, Diar, ended up being the culprit behind the screams. Here’s a video of the 9-year-old rooting against her dad’s former team.

The crazy part is, the young DeRozan’s tactic seemed to be working, as the Raptors shot just 18-of-36 (50%) from the line. That was a huge factor in Toronto losing, 109-105, to end their season.

The Bulls, meantime, advance to play at Miami on Friday night in a winner-take-all game for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Diar’s shrieks had NBA Twitter abuzz Wednesday night. Here are some of the best reactions.
