The maximum number of points Arsenal can score is 87, which means Man City need three for an unassailable points tally.

If Man City win their next match they will be champions, regardless of Arsenal's result.

So even if Arsenal win at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, Man City will be crowned with a victory at home to Chelsea on Sunday, May 21.

When is the soonest Man City can win the title?

Saturday, May 20.

Man City will be confirmed as champions if Arsenal lose at Forest.

If Arsenal draw against Forest, City will only need a draw at home to Chelsea on May 21.

What about Arsenal?
