Lonnie Walker's Viral Tweet After Los Angeles Lakers Win Game 4

Lonnie Walker sent out a tweet after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors in Game 4.

On Monday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors by a score of 104-101 at Crypto.com Arena.

With the victory, they now have a commanding 3-1 lead in the series and will go to San Francisco for Game 5 at the Chase Center on Wednesday evening.

The Lakers went into the fourth quarter trailing by seven points, but they were able to win the final period 27-17 (behind Lonnie Walker's 15-point quarter).

Through the first nine games of the NBA Playoffs, Walker had only played in six games and averaged 4.8 points per contest, so he was the surprising hero of the night.

The former Miami star finished with 15 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals while shooting 6/9 from the field in 27 minutes of playing time (he also made two clutch free throws in the final seconds).

After the game, Walker sent out a tweet with four photos that is going viral on Twitter.

Walker captioned his post: "Candle stay lit ðŸ”¥"

Walker was the 18th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and spent the first four seasons of his career with the San Antonio Spurs.

He signed with the Lakers last summer on a one-year deal.

During the regular season, the 24-year-old averaged 11.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest while shooting 44.8% from the field and 36.5% from the three-point range.

The Lakers will have a chance to close out the series on Wednesday evening, but if the Warriors are able to win, Game 6 will be back in Los Angeles on Friday.
