Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars eke out nail-biter on the road against Saints

They were aided by a game-tying TD drop from Foster Moreau.

The New Orleans Saints had just knotted the game roughly three minutes prior in the fourth quarter with momentum on their side at home at the Caesars Superdome.

Then, Trevor Lawrence proceeded to take the air out of the stadium.

Lawrence found Christian Kirk on a short crossing route, which the wide receiver took 44 yards for the touchdown to put the Jacksonville Jaguars up 31-24 with 3:08 left in the game.

The score stood after Saints' tight end Foster Moreau dropped a picture-perfect 3rd down pass from Derek Carr in the end zone, letting the ball slip between his hands. Carr's pass on 4th down was incomplete, too, as the Jaguars improved to 5-2 and the Saints fell to 3-4.

Lawrence finished with 204 yards passing and one touchdown, while running back Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns.

Carr had 301 passing yards and a touchdown pass to Michael Thomas to knot the game at 6:38 in the fourth quarter, before Lawrence and Kirk responded.

Here's how the entire Saints-Jaguars' game went.
