Myles Garrett jumped clear over the Colts line for the coolest FG block and NFL fans loved it

Myles Garrett is one of the league’s best defensive players for a reason, and he showed us why on Sunday against the Colts.

After Garrett had already forced a turnover from a sack and forced fumble on Gardner Minshew, the Browns star gave us one of the coolest field goal blocks we’ll ever see.

Now, NFL rules forbid defensive players from going over the offensive line if they make contact with the opposing player (like, using them as a means to propel over). But players are allowed to completely jump over the line without making contact.

Just very few players would even try such a move. Garrett, apparently, is one of those players.

Garrett had the snap timed up perfectly, and he basically did a standing vertical to clear the Colts line and block the field goal. Denzel Ward recovered the blocked kick, which ultimately set up a field goal for the Browns.

But man, what a play. That athleticism was something else, and NFL fans were justifiably impressed.
