NFL Fans Celebrate Jared Goff's Lions for Earning 1st Playoff Win Since 1992 vs. Rams
The playoff win drought is finally over.
The Detroit Lions defeated the Los Angeles Rams by the final score of 24-23 on Sunday night, marking the team's first postseason victory since 1992.
Jared Goff excelled during a win over the team that traded him in Jan. 2021, completing 81.5 percent of his passes for 277 yards and a touchdown without committing an interception. He was especially dominant in the first half, racking up 194 yards through two quarters.

Amon-Ra St. Brown reeled in a team-high seven receptions for 110 yards, while running backs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs each scored a touchdown on the ground.
On the other side of the ball, Aidan Hutchinson was dominant in the first playoff game of his career. The former No. 2 overall pick took down Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford twice, notching the Lions' only two sacks of the evening.
Fans were excited for Detroit, as the team snapped the longest active NFL streak without a postseason win.
Looking ahead, Detroit will host the winner of Monday night's matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the divisional round.
