Report: Bill Belichick May Become TV Analyst in 2024 Following Falcons, NFL Rumors
Bill Belichick may follow the Sean Payton playbook.
After coaching the New Orleans Saints for 15 years, Payton took the 2022 campaign off and worked as a studio analyst for Fox before returning to coaching in 2023 with the Denver Broncos. It appears as if Bill Belichick will not coach in 2024 after parting ways with the New England Patriots, and Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports reported television could be the next step for the legend.
"Every network would want him," a media agent said. "He would revolutionize media with the way he prepares."

As for Belichick's future in coaching, Jones noted "there remains a desire" for such a return, even if he has to wait until 2025 since the Atlanta Falcons are the only team that interviewed him this cycle before they hired Raheem Morris.
Taking a year off from coaching could give Belichick time to put together a staff and prepare more for his eventual return.
There will surely still be interest from some teams next offseason considering his resume includes six Super Bowl titles. He is also just 15 wins away from breaking Don Shula's all-time record, which would put his next team even further under the spotlight.
"He was going to be picky anyway," a source told Jones. "He needs someone to give him total control."
That total control may not come until after a year of television.
