Pro Bowl MVP 2024: Bucs' Baker Mayfield, Saints' Demario Davis Win Award Honors
Baker Mayfield and Demario Davis will be taking home some hardware, as the two were named the offensive and defensive MVP of the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and the New Orleans Saints linebacker both delivered strong performances during a competitive Sunday afternoon, with the NFC defeating the AFC 64-59 in the Pro Bowl Games.
Although head coach Peyton Manning's team dominated the flag football portion of the afternoon by winning 50-34, the NFC's supremacy in the team skills competitions gave the conference an edge in the overall score.

Mayfield was responsible for the conference's victory in the Precision Passing challenge on Thursday, as he out-dueled Houston Texans signal-caller C.J. Stroud in the final round to give the NFC three points.
The former No. 1 overall pick also showed off his accuracy during the flag football contest, evading defenders in the pocket and finding Dallas Cowboys star receiver CeeDee Lamb for a touchdown late in the third quarter.
Davis made the most of his Pro Bowl experience after he was added to the roster on Tuesday as an injury replacement for 49ers linebacker Fred Warner, anchoring the NFC's defense throughout the flag football game.
The 35-year-old wrapped up another phenomenal season with New Orleans in 2023, recording a team-leading 121 total tackles to go along with 6.5 sacks and 12 tackles for loss.
Despite failing to have a team reach 10 wins in the regular season, the NFC South was responsible for the offensive and defensive MVPs of the Pro Bowl.
