Iowa superstar Caitlin Clark is on the brink of becoming the NCAA Division-I all-time leading scorer with two games remaining in the 2023-24 regular season.
Clark already surpassed University of Washington and Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum for the women's NCAA Division-I scoring record, and now she's only 51 points shy of passing Hall-of-Famer Pete Maravich.
Averaging a nation-leading 32.1 points per game, Clark, poetically, is on pace to break the record on senior night against Ohio State in what could be her final game played at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Those two pieces of history have produced a reported record-breaking price of admission for women's basketball at any level — NCAA or WNBA.

The ticket company "Tick Pick" reported on Tuesday that the current non-general admission get-in price for Clark's senior night vs. Ohio State is $491, which is the most expensive ticket in women's basketball — NCAA or WNBA — on record.
According to StubHub, the lowest non-GA get-in price for two tickets is currently $333 before fees (and $450 after fees).

It's a double-whammy that Clark's all-time Division-I NCAA scoring record-breaking night also happens to fall on the same day she might play her final home game in an Iowa uniform.
Clark hasn't declared for the 2024 WNBA Draft yet. She does have one extra remaining year of college eligibility due to the COVID-19-shortened season, but she is also expected to be the No. 1 overall pick if she elects to turn pro.
Either way, fans are expecting a show considering the last time Clark played Ohio State, she exploded for 45 points and seven assists with seven 3-pointers made.

Iowa's game against Ohio State is its final regular-season game before the Big Ten Tournament begins on March 6 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
No matter the result, the Hawkeyes will earn a top-four finish in conference play, meaning they will have a double-bye and begin tournament play on March 8.
