NFL Draft 2024: Full List of Compensatory Picks Released
Ahead of next month's NFL draft, the compensatory picks have been released.
Compensatory picks, first introduced in 1994, are given to teams that suffer major losses in free agency or have a minority staff member hired as a head coach or general manager by a different club. Teams are given picks designated from Rounds 3 through 7.
The full list of the 34 compensatory draft picks was revealed on Friday.

The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams earned the most compensatory picks with five additional selections each. Both received one third-round pick.
The Jacksonville Jaguars were awarded the highest compensatory pick at No. 96.
Last season, the NFL handed out 37 compensatory picks to 16 teams.
While the compensatory picks don't give teams a chance to jump into the first round, some notable compensatory picks have gone on to be impactful players. The most famous of the bunch was Tom Brady, who was a sixth-round pick in the 2000 NFL draft.
Matt Hasselback, Hines Ward, Brian Dawkins and more recently, Dak Prescott, are a few other former compensatory picks that proved valuable.
