ESPN's Adam Rittenberg provided further details of the arrest on Monday:
The 22-year-old was named both the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Outland Trophy winner (best interior lineman) in the 2023 season after registering a pair of sacks, eight tackles for loss and four pass deflections.
Heading into the 2024 NFL draft, the B/R NFL Scouting Department classified him as a "High-Level Backup/Potential Starter" and gave him a third-round grade, listing him as the No. 67 overall player in the draft.
He's expected to be a major factor against the run at the next level given his large frame (6'4" and 366 pounds) and strength.
