Early in the fourth quarter during Monday night's game between the Chiefs and Saints, Kansas City extended their lead over the visiting New Orleans squad thanks to a Xavier Worthy touchdown. On the play, which was a clutch answer to the Saints closing within three points, tight end Travis Kelce got the snap and handed it off to Worthy for the three-yard score.

After sprinting into the end zone, Worthy -- a rookie from the University of Texas -- continued running to the corner of the stadium where he handed the ball to a woman in the stands. That woman was none other than Worthy's mother, Nicky Jones.

The pair embraced before Worthy returned to the sidelines, but it's hard to imagine a better birthday for Jones.
