2025 NBA Mock Draft: Pro Comparisons and 2-Round Predictions Post-Trade Deadline

Jonathan WassermanFeb 11, 2025

A number of NBA rosters look drastically different after the trade deadline.

Time will tell how the trades of Kyle Kuzma, De'Aaron Fox, Zach LaVine, Brandon Ingram and De'Andre Hunter and Jimmy Butler will impact the standings and shift the lottery odds.

As for the prospects, not much has changed among the top four. It is getting interesting after that, though, with the next tier consisting of players with tricky upside bets (Khaman Maluach, Jeremiah Fears) and safer skill sets (Asa Newell, Kon Knueppel, Tre Johnson).

1. Washington Wizards: Cooper Flagg (Duke, F)

1 of 59
Duke v Clemson

Washington Wizards record: 9-43
Previous Mock Position: No. 1
Size: 6'9", 205 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparisons: Andrei Kirilenko (defensive), Jalen Johnson (offensive)

Leading the nation's No. 3 team in points, rebounds, assists and blocks, Cooper Flagg has delivered on the hype. The development he's shown as a shot-creator and shooter has been highly encouraging.

Aside from the easy baskets his athleticism, tools and motor consistently generate, he's scoring off self-created drives and mid-range jumpers while hitting a respectable 36.4 percent of his threes and 80.3 percent of his free throws. And he's become Duke's lead playmaker at 6'9", working in ball-screen situations or playing the role of big-man passer from the perimeter.

The Washington Wizards are likely salivating at the idea of pairing Flagg with Alex Sarr up front.

2. New Orleans Pelicans: Dylan Harper (Rutgers, PG/SG)

2 of 59

Utah Jazz record: 12-40
Previous Mock Position: No. 2
Position: PG/SG
Size: 6'6", 215 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparisons: Coby White, Jalen Brunson (bigger)

A 28-point, six-rebound, five-assist game against Illinois signaled Dylan Harper's return to full strength. He easily outplayed Kasparas Jakucionis, who'd been gaining steam as a potential top-five pick.

Harper's downhill game, elite finishing package, shotmaking and defensive playmaking in the win should have accentuated the gap between him and the next-best ball-handler.

The Washington Wizards, Utah Jazz and New Orleans Pelicans, who just lost Dejounte Murray to a ruptured Achilles, could all favor Harper with a need to lock down a lead guard.

3. Utah Jazz: Ace Bailey (Rutgers, SF)

3 of 59

New Orleans Pelicans record: 12-39
Previous Mock Position: No. 3
Size: 6'10", 200 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparisons: Brandon Miller, Michael Porter Jr., Rashard Lewis

Ace Bailey's lack of passing and tough shot selection is well documented, but neither will diminish the appeal to his mix of 6'10" size and incredible shotmaking once Cooper Flagg is off the board.

He just had three efficient, 30-plus-point efforts in January, which help drown out the occasional off-game that's mostly caused by a heavy workload and reliance on hitting tough jumpers.

Lottery teams will ultimately see a coveted big-wing scorer archetype, obvious upside and an easy fit with his ability to play off the ball, the 2 and 3.

4. Charlotte Hornets: VJ Edgecombe (Baylor, SG/SF)

4 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 01 Kansas at Baylor

Charlotte Hornets record: 13-37
Previous Mock Position: No. 4
Size: 6'5", 180 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: Bahamas
Pro comparison: Andrew Wiggins

Outrageous athletic ability should have kept scouts patient during VJ Edgecombe’s early-season struggle to make shots. He’s now shooting nearly 40.0 percent from three while still continuing to blow by for easy baskets, move the ball and make defensive plays at high rates.

The potential to add more ball-handling for creation hints at enticing upside for such a special athlete and capable shooter. But he’s going to be an easy sell regardless just based on the surefire translatability of his explosion and quickness at both ends.

5. Toronto Raptors: Khaman Maluach (Duke, C)

5 of 59
North Carolina v Duke

Toronto Raptors record: 16-37
Previous Mock Position: No. 9
Size: 7'2", 250 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: South Sudan
Pro Comparison: Dereck Lively II

Shooting over 83.0 percent around the rim and nearly 80.0 percent inside the arc, Khaman Maluach has established himself as the draft's top finishing weapon. And at 7'2", 250 lbs, he clearly has the physical tools and mobility for the dunker's spot buckets, lob-catching and putbacks to translate. Throw in the physical screens, timing and defensive presence, and a team that covets this particular archetype will be clearly drawn to Maluach.

But there is also enough pre-Duke tape of driving and shotmaking for teams to see a path to far more offensive upside. Maluach already seems positioned to help himself more than most in predraft workouts, where he can entice by showing more skill than he's able to experiment with during games.

6. Brooklyn Nets: Kasparas Jakucionis (Illinois, PG/SG)

6 of 59
Ohio State v Illinois

Brooklyn Nets record: 18-34
Previous Mock Position: No. 6
Size: 6'6", 200 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: Lithuania
Pro comparison: Chauncey Billups

After a strong start showing scouts creativity, clever movement, flashy shotmaking, playmaking IQ and crafty finishing, the concerns with Kasparas Jakucionis' quickness, explosion and ball security were exposed over the past few weeks. He struggled trying to get uncontested shots for himself against Rutgers and Nebraska, he fouled out in nine minutes against Michigan State and now averages 3.7 turnovers per game.

There is still plenty of recent NBA evidence suggesting IQ, skill and timing outweighs athleticism for a ball-handler, and Jakucionis happens to be 6'6", 18 years old with considerable production and execution against quality opponents.

7. Oklahoma City Thunder (via 76ers): Asa Newell (Georgia, PF/C)

7 of 59
Georgia v Alabama

Philadelphia 76ers record: 20-32
Previous Mock Position: No. 8
Size: 6'11", 220 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparisons: Bobby Portis, Jalen Smith, Marvin Bagley Jr.

Even without much creation in Asa Newell's game, he has still scored in double figures every game but one. It's not a coincidence he keeps finding himself in position to catch and dunk. There is a skill and timing to consistently getting those opportunities.

And now he's starting to make threes, a development that matches the tape from Montverde Academy. There should be plenty of interest in a 6'11", versatile defender and elite play-finisher with floor-spacing potential.

8. Chicago Bulls: Ben Saraf (Ratiopharm Ulm, PG/SG)

8 of 59
ratiopharm ulm v Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius - Eurocup

Chicago Bulls record: 22-31
Previous Mock Position: No. 10
Size: 6'5", 201 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: Israel
Pro Comparison: Manu Ginobili

Consistency at 18 years old in Germany has given Ben Saraf some added credibility. Coming off consecutive 17-point games for Ulm, he's getting to spots off change of direction and timely bursts, and he's converting an impressive amount of paint attempts and mid-range shots.

There is sure to be skepticism around his frame, athletic limitations and low three-point volume, but it's getting tougher to doubt him when he continues to score with efficiency off his creative handles, footwork and shotmaking craft inside the arc.

The playmaking ability certainly looks real, in spite of the turnovers. He's registering a 33.3 assist percentage, showing a clear feel for manipulating defense off ball screens and finding his roll man and shooters with anticipation and passing skill.

The scouting report shows an obvious need to improve his range and decision-making, but 47.5 percent mid-range shooting and age/high usage should keep scouts optimistic.

9. Portland Trail Blazers: Tre Johnson (Texas, SG)

9 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: JAN 25 Texas A&M at Texas

Portland Trail Blazers record: 23-30
Previous Mock Position: No. 9
Size: 6'6", 190 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparisons: Buddy Hield

Tre Johnson's shotmaking has become one of the best bets in the draft. Scouts are just questioning the heavy diet of tough jump shots and low number of rim and free-throw attempts.

Those questions will become less alarming in the back half of the lottery, where it becomes easier to accept a lack of driving pressure and playmaking from a 6'6" freshman averaging 19.1 points off advanced self-creation and elite shooting versatility.

10. San Antonio Spurs: Kon Knueppel (Duke, SF)

10 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 05 Duke at Syracuse

San Antonio Spurs record: 22-28
Previous Mock Position: No. 11
Size: 6'6", 217 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Kevin Huerter

Kon Knueppel has been putting up modest stat lines, though scouts will remain confident in his shotmaking and ball-screen feel. It creates an easy fit at the next level for a complementary role that will call for him to score out of spot-ups, shoot off movement and take advantage when matched up against smaller defenders.

Teams may have a tough time buying a shot-creator, which limits possibilities when it comes to upside. He figures to wind up with a team that's looking to a fill a need or hole with shooting, high-IQ play and instant results.

11. San Antonio Spurs (via Hawks): Collin Murray-Boyles (South Carolina, PF)

11 of 59
Texas A&M v South Carolina

Atlanta Hawks record: 25-28
Previous Mock Position: No. 12
Size: 6'7", 245 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparisons: Julius Randle

Collin Murray-Boyles is delivering the same scoring production and efficiency as last year, only in a larger role with more creation responsibility. Despite a relatively predictable offensive repertoire built around post play, screen and rolls and line drives, he's still shooting 58.5 percent, using his body and hands extremely well while playing back-to-the-basket or on face-up drives.

At 6'7", there are going to be NBA teams who'll need to be sold on Murray-Boyles' potential to add a jump shot. He's a difficult cover even without one, and he's looked more comfortable handling the ball this year and operating as a playmaking forward.

12. Houston Rockets (via Suns): Jeremiah Fears (Oklahoma, PG)

12 of 59
Oklahoma v Arkansas

Phoenix Suns record: 26-26
Previous Mock Position: No. 5
Size: 6'4", 182 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: American
Pro Comparison: Jaden Ivey, Russell Westbrook

Age, open-floor speed, half-court burst and creativity, athletic finishes and capable shotmaking have scouts picturing upside potentially worth reaching into the top five for.

Tough games like Oklahoma's against Auburn and Tennessee also illuminate his thin frame, unreliable shooting stroke and turnover-prone decision-making.

13. Atlanta Hawks (via Kings): Nolan Traore (Saint-Quentin, PG)

13 of 59
Galatasaray v Saint-Quentin - Basketball Champions League

Sacramento Kings record: 26-26
Previous Mock Position: No. 12
Size: 6'4", 184 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: France
Pro Comparisons: Lonzo Ball

Front offices will be divided by Nolan Traore's speed, production and unteachable passing instincts versus the inefficiency, athletic limitations and weak shooting.

At 18 years old, playing against starters in Pro A, he's still averaging 11.5 points with a 44.0 assist percentage that's likely to rank first among first-round worthy ball-handlers. He clearly has an advanced, mature feel running offense and setting the table.

But no off-ball skills/value will likely limit his suitors to teams that strictly need a point guard or that already have depth and opt for Traore as the best player available and developmental project.

14. Miami Heat (via Warriors): Liam McNeeley (Connecticut, SF/PF)

14 of 59
Connecticut v DePaul

Golden State Warriors record: 26-26
Previous Mock Position: No. 14
Size: 6'7", 210 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparisons: Keegan Murray

An ankle injury cost Liam McNeeley weeks, but it also highlighted the missed impact of low-usage shotmaking and play-finishing. Connecticut lost to unranked Villanova, Creighton and Xavier during his eight-game absence.

McNeeley has a special knack for scoring within an offense's flow, mostly due to his transition shooting, off-ball movement and ability to take advantage of mismatches and space attacking as a pick-and-roll ball-handler. He'll be viewed as a rookie with an adaptable, quick-fit skill set.

15. Orlando Magic: Noa Essengue (Ratiopharm Ulm, PF)

15 of 59
Ratiopharm ulm v Tel Aviv - EuroCup

Orlando Magic record: 26-28
Previous Mock Position: No. 15
Size: 6'9", 198 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: France
Pro Comparison: Jabari Walker, Precious Achiuwa

The narrative around Noa Essengue has been the same all year, with the 18-year-old consistently finding ways to earn easy baskets and trips to the line by running the floor, crashing the glass, attacking closeouts, timing cuts and making a three-pointer every other game.

Though it seems unlikely he'll ever be a creator or prolific shotmaker, Essengue gets the most out of every inch of size and length. Plenty of room to develop his skills may hint at upside, but NBA teams will be banking on the 6'9" forward to make plays from off the ball without needing featured touches.

16. Oklahoma City Thunder (via Heat): Thomas Sorber (Georgetown, C)

16 of 59
Georgetown v Xavier

Miami Heat record: 25-25
Previous Mock Position: No. 16
Size: 6'10", 255 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Onyeka Okongwu

Consistency has made it easy to buy into Thomas Sorber's post skill, passing and disruptive defense. He's executing one-on-one moves around the paint and high-level passes on a routine basis, while his physical tools continue to generate easy finishes, blocks and steals.

Even if the shooting flashes remain just flashes, Sorber should be a popular mid-to-late first-round option for teams that could want more frontcourt offense and defensive presence.

17. Minnesota Timberwolves (via Pistons): Egor Demin (BYU, PG/SF)

17 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 04 Arizona at BYU

Detroit Pistons record: 27-26
Previous Mock Position: No. 17
Size: 6'9"
Age: 18
Nationality: Russia
Pro Comparisons: Josh Giddey

The evaluation on Egor Demin gets more interesting with every assist and missed three-pointer.

The handle, vision and passing skill that he displays at 6'9" will look very translatable to NBA playmaking. Confidence in his scoring potential is wavering a bit, however, with Demin struggling to make jumpers or any contested attempts outside the paint.

Teams will likely have to start weighing and assessing the high likelihood of his playmaking carrying over versus the uncertainty around his shooting and value off the ball.

18. Dallas Mavericks: Derik Queen (Maryland, PF/C)

18 of 59
Maryland v Ohio State

Dallas Mavericks record: 28-25
Previous Mock Position: No. 18
Size: 6'10", 246 lbs
Age: 20
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Jared Sullinger, Wendell Carter Jr.

Derik Queen's overall production and dominant games have been compelling enough for scouts to put less stock into his poor showings. And we've seen both sides of the performance spectrum lately, with the freshman dominating Rutgers (29 points, 15 boards, five assists) after struggling from the floor for three consecutive games.

His 246-pound frame, inside scoring instincts, assists, 9.1 percent three-point shooting (2-of-22) and worrisome defensive projection are going to divide scouts. At some point in the first round, however, a team is going to see too much production, unteachable passing processing, mid-range touch and perimeter drives.

19. Brooklyn Nets (via Bucks): Hugo Gonzalez (Real Madrid, SF)

19 of 59
Anadolu Efes vs Real Madrid - Turkish Airlines EuroLeague

Milwaukee Bucks record: 28-23
Previous Mock Position: No. 19
Size: 6'7", weight unlisted
Age: 18
Nationality: Spain
Pro Comparison: Jonathan Kuminga

Hugo Gonzalez showcased his complementary scoring tools and off-ball skill during his third double-digit scoring game of the season against Anadolu Efes. He's starting to make threes, likely a result of more confidence with from more minutes.

NBA teams will still lean on tape from FIBA and ANGT tournaments, when he was featured and displayed signs of on-ball development. He'll likely start his NBA career in a play-finishing, defensive energy role, which can then create an opportunity to further sharpen his handle, creation and shotmaking diversity.

20. Oklahoma City Thunder (via Clippers): Nique Clifford (Colorado State, SF/PF)

20 of 59
Colorado State v New Mexico

Los Angeles Clippers record: 29-23
Previous Mock Position: No. 23
Size: 6'6", 200 lbs
Age: 22
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Landry Fields

Nique Clifford had a four-game streak snapped with at least 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists. More usage this year has unlocked more shot-creation, as Clifford has excelled in a No. 1 option role and shown he can get generate his own drive-and-finish opportunities or separate into pull-ups and fallaways.

Still, NBA teams will be drawn to the idea of Clifford in a Swiss Army Knife role that taps into play-finishing, rebounding, passing and defensive playmaking, as well as this newer ability to start capitlizing on-on-one in space

21. Utah Jazz (via Timberwolves): Jase Richardson (Michigan State, SG)

21 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 01 Michigan State at USC

Minnesota Timberwolves record: 30-23
Previous Mock Position: No. 27
Size: 6'3", 185 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro comparison: Ty Jerome

With Jeremy Fears Jr. out against Oregon, Jase Richardson capitalized on more on-ball reps to score 29 points in the win. It was easily the most creation we've seen from the freshman who'd previously been more of a spot-up or supporting guard.

He'd already had scouts’ attention with how efficiently he’s scoring from off the ball. His outstanding spot-up play, transition finishing, off-screen shooting and decision-making create plug-and-play vibes.

He has struggled to make shots as of late, and Richardson figures to have a better chance to max out his draft stock by returning to a high-usage role in 2026. But it’s also easy to picture some NBA teams wanting to get in early, develop and wait on Richardson because of the translatability of his easy-fit skill set and maturity.

22. Indiana Pacers: Noah Penda (Le Mans, SF/PF)

22 of 59
Monaco player #4 Jaron Blossomgame and Le Mans player #93...

Indiana Pacers record: 29-22
Previous Mock Position: No. 21
Size: 6'8", 225 lbs
Age: 20
Nationality: France
Pro Comparison: Nicolas Batum

Named MVP of LNB Pro A's Young Star game, Noah Penda put his versatility on full display with drives, live-dribble passes, a deep three and some impressive defensive sequences.

He's not an explosive athlete or serviceable creator, but he's effective scoring off the ball with spot-up shooting, cutting and offensive rebounds. And still, it's Penda's defensive potential that may be his primary selling point based on how he slides his feet at 6'8", anticipates and regularly racks up steals and blocks.

23. Atlanta Hawks (via Lakers): Danny Wolf (Michigan, PF/C)

23 of 59
Oregon v Michigan

Los Angeles Lakers record: 31-19

Previous Mock Position: No. 35
Size: 7'0", 250 lbs
Age: 20
Nationality: USA/Israel
Pro comparison: Dalano Banton

Danny Wolf is starting to generate more buzz and highlights with next-level ball-handling for a 7-footer. It’s turning him into a tough driver and live-dribble passer, as well as perimeter scorer who can separate into pull-up and step-back threes.

Averaging 10.0 boards, 3.7 assists and 1.6 blocks while finishing with strong feel around the rim, he’s making it easier to look past the low three-point volume, disappointing free-throw percentage and athletic limitations.

24. Brooklyn Nets: Boogie Fland (Arkansas, PG)

24 of 59
Ole Miss v Arkansas

Houston Rockets record: 33-20
Previous Mock Position: No. 25
Size: 6'2", 175 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Kemba Walker, Rob Dillingham

With Boogie Fland out for the season after thumb surgery, the question is whether he showed enough creation, shotmaking and playmaking for NBA teams to look past the concerns tied to his size, athleticism and finishing.

He shot just 36.0 percent on layups with zero dunks attempts, alarming numbers. Regardless, his spot-up shooting efficiency, pull-up potency, floater touch and excellent assist-to-turnover ratio should at least have front offices picturing an instant-offense bench spark who can create for teammates.

25. Orlando Magic (via Nuggets): Carter Bryant (Arizona, SF/PF)

25 of 59
Iowa State v Arizona

Denver Nuggets record: 34-19
Previous mock position: 22
Size: 6'8", 220 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Marcus Morris

If Carter Bryant's current role remains the same, he could have a tough time deciding on the draft. His usage and production aren't typical of a one-and-done first-rounder's, but his physical tools and three-level scoring flashes could tempt front offices to reach and wait/bet on the 19-year-old's development and upside.

He should have a good opportunity to enticing during predraft workouts in a setting that can illuminate his physical profile, athleticism and shotmaking skills.

26. Brooklyn Nets (via Knicks): Will Riley (Illinois, SF)

26 of 59
Illinois v Rutgers

New York Knicks record: 34-18

Previous mock position: No. 39
Size: 6'8", 180 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: Canada
Pro Comparison: Kyshawn George

Will Riley's execution has been better lately, particularly getting to the basket. He's been more focused on using his handle to drive and positional height to finish over defenders around the paint.

Perimeter shotmaking for a 6'9" wing is still Riley's moneymaker. Limited explosiveness, strength and playmaking ability have just led to some inefficiency and translation questions.

27. Washington Wizards (via Grizzlies): Rasheer Fleming (Saint Joseph's, PF)

27 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: JAN 11 Loyola-Chicago at Saint Joseph's

Memphis Grizzlies record: 35-17
Previous Mock Position: No. 24
Size: 6'9", 240 lbs
Age: 20
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Taylor Hendricks

It's deep enough into the season to start buying Rasheer Fleming's 40.7 percent three-point shooting. The catch-and-shoot fluidity and consistency have been very convincing, a major development for a 6'9", 240-pound forward who's also totaled 34 dunks, 35 steals and 38 blocks in 23 games.

Scouts have caught on, and NBA teams figure to see an easy fit and role for Fleming's ability to pick-and-pop, stretch the floor, finish around the basket and disrupt defensively.

28. Boston Celtics: Ian Jackson (North Carolina, SG)

28 of 59
Cal v North Carolina

Boston Celtics record: 36-17
Previous Mock Position: No. 20
Size: 6'4", 190 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Malik Beasley

Certain NBA teams coveting additional backcourt firepower should be interested in Ian Jackson's downhill attacking and tough shotmaking. He came back down Earth after a scorching seven-game stretch from December to January, but certain front office's eye tests' will buy Jackson's frame, movement, self-creation and shooting versatility for scoring at the next level. No playmaking ability just reduces his margin for error/versatility and lowers the value of his projected archetype.

29. Phoenix Suns (via Cavaliers): Kam Jones (Marquette, PG/SG)

29 of 59
Connecticut v Marquette

Cleveland Cavaliers record: 42-10
Previous Mock Position: No. 28
Size: 6'5", 205 lbs
Age: 22
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Malik Monk

A proven shotmaker and consistently one of the more efficient rim-finishing guards in college hoops, Kam Jones has now taken off this year as a playmaker (6.0 assists).

Being 23 years old by draft night historically impacts draft stock, but it's getting tough to poke holes in a 6'5" combo with 286 career threes, a functional floater game, three consecutive seasons above 65.0 percent around the basket and gradually improving playmaking skills.

30. Los Angeles Clippers (via OKC): Alex Toohey (Sydney, SF)

30 of 59
NBL Rd 17 - South East Melbourne Phoenix v Sydney Kings

Oklahoma City Thunder record: 42-9
Previous Mock Position: No. 29
Size: 6'9", 223 lbs
Age: 20
Nationality: Australia
Pro Comparison: Austin Reaves (bigger)

Alex Toohey finished his second regular season with Sydney, and the improvements he’s made with his shooting and defense should lead to more serious NBA interest. Closer to 6’9” now, he’s become a real shotmaking threat who excels at using his body on drives off transition, closeout attacks, cuts and handoffs. With impressive defensive playmaking rates and the versatility to guard different archetypes, there will be NBA teams that see a plug-and-play fit.

31. Boston Celtics (via Wizards): Labaron Philon (Alabama, PG/SG)

31 of 59
LSU v Alabama

Previous Mock Position: No. 26

Size: 6'4", 177 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparisons: Kobe Bufkin

Labaron Philon hit NBA radars early with how well-rounded and in control he looked getting to spots, setting up teammates and finishing plays. He’s hit an offensive wall as of late, however, and it’s exposed the concerns tied to his athletic limitations, missing pull-up game and suspect range.

He’s still likely to have fans in front offices that see a 6’4”, interchangeable guard that can handle and make ball-screen decisions, compensate with body control and touch at the rim and improve enough to be an adequate shooting threat.

32. Charlotte Hornets (via Pelicans): Maxime Raynaud (Stanford, C)

32 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 05 Wake Forest at Stanford

Previous Mock Position: No. 30
Size: 7'1", 250 lbs
Age: 21
Nationality: France
Pro Comparison: Alex Len

Maxime Raynaud's 20.5 points per game are coming off such a high level of offensive skill for a 7'1" big man. NBA teams will obviously be drawn to his floor-spacing 1.8 threes per game, but the ability to attack closeouts and use the dribble have created more scoring versatility. And he continues to excel in the post with his footwork and touch over both shoulders.

The lack of rim protection may limit him to reserve minutes at the next level, but teams could still see value in the 20s in a stretch 5 and finishing target who can also create for himself from different spots in the half court.

33. Minnesota Timberwolves (via Jazz): Adou Thiero (Arkansas, SF/PF)

33 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 05 Arkansas at Texas

Previous Mock Position: No. 32
Size: 6'8", 220 lbs
Age: 20
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Keldon Johnson

Adou Thiero's shooting remains problematic, but he's improved his ability to create for himself inside the arc, a needed development that's turned him into a more versatile scoring threat in the half court.

Between the open-floor athleticism for transition offense, the play-finishing, defensive playmaking and now the tougher driving ability, teams could start to talk themselves into an outlier, non-shooting wing or combo forward.

34. Charlotte Hornets: Alex Karaban (Connecticut, SF/PF)

34 of 59
DePaul v Connecticut

Previous Mock Position: No. 31
Size: 6'8", 225 lbs
Age: 22
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Georges Niang

By 2025, the scouting report on Alex Karaban feels well defined. Movement shooting, play-finishing, a reliable float game, defensive toughness and sound decision-making represent attractive, role-playing qualities for the NBA. On-ball limitations creating or earning advantages with athleticism hint at a lower ceiling.

35. Detroit Pistons (via Raptors): Yaxel Lendeborg (UAB, PF)

35 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: NOV 07 Southern Miss at UAB

Previous mock position: No. 37
Size: 6'9", 240 lbs
Age: 20
Nationality: USA
Pro comparison: Jalen Slawson

Historically productive so far, Yaxel Lendeborg is on track to join Ron Harper Sr. as the only players on record to light up the main statistical categories with averages of 15 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals.

At 6'9", 240 pounds, the versatility to attack, finish plays, pass, get second-chance points and make plays defensively should lower the bar when it comes to his shooting. He's impacting games in a Swiss Army knife role at both ends, and it's still not out of the question that he can develop into a capable catch-and-shoot threat. His 14 made threes are already more than he hit last season.

36. Brooklyn Nets: Dink Pate (Mexico City, PG/SG)

36 of 59
Mexico City Capitanes v Texas Legends

Previous mock position: No. 40
Size: 6'8", 210 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: AJ Johnson

A scouting case that incudes two years in the G League, an enticing archetype, improved shooting, inconsistency and limited versatility is going to divide scouts on Dink Pate.
Still 18 years old, he's had some big games in the G League, most notably a 26-point effort at the Showcase in front of dozens of NBA executives. He's also raised his three-point mark to a respectable 33.9 percent after really struggling from deep last year.
There will be patient teams that see upside in a 6'8" guard who can create and score from three levels. And there will be others unwilling to wait or gamble on a scorer who's still limited from outside and shown little playmaking or off-ball skill.

37. Philadelphia 76ers: Bogoljub Markovic (Mega, PF/C)

37 of 59
Serbia v Denmark - FIBA Eurobasket 2025 Qualifier

Previous Mock Position: No. 38
Size: 6'11", 195 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: Serbia
Pro Comparison: Aleksej Pokusevski

Bogoljub Marković added another 20-point game to the resume in January while also racking up nine boards and five assists.
Though not an overwhelming athlete or physical big, his skill level creates interesting scoring versatility, with the 6'11" forward producing off spot-up shooting, post touch, coast-to-coast takes and offensive boards.

38. Sacramento Kings (via Bulls): Michael Ruzic (Joventut, PF/C)

38 of 59
Real Madrid V Joventut Badalona - Liga Acb Endesa

Previous Mock Position: No. 36
Size: 6'10", 220 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: Croatia
Pro Comparison: Moritz Wagner

Michael Ruzic still hasn’t found a rhythm since returning from a four-month layoff from a thumb injury. Teams will continue to resort to last year’s tape of a 17-year-old scoring efficiently and shooting 40.6 percent from three between the Spanish ACB and Eurocup.

A clearcut top prospect at Eurocamp back in June, Ruzic has clear NBA tools and skills, just without recent production to solidify a first-round case yet.

39. Toronto Raptors (via Blazers): Sergio De Larrea (Valencia, SG)

39 of 59
Sergio de Larrea of Valencia basket seen in action during...

Previous Mock Position: No. 34

Size: 6'5"
Age: 19
Nationality: Spain
Pro Comparison: Bogdan Bogdanović

Sergio De Larrea is becoming a legitimate name to watch, as the 19-year-old continues to score efficiently and use his dribble and vision to set up teammates.
He's shooting 48.6 percent from three with a 30.9 assist percentage, numbers only two NCAA freshmen are currently putting up, including projected top-10 pick Kasparas Jakucionis.
With Valencia at 14-6 in ACB play, De Larrea is sure to draw more and more attention if he continues to make shots, finish plays and create for others at his current rate.

40. San Antonio Spurs: Chaz Lanier (Tennessee, SG)

40 of 59
Missouri v Tennessee

Previous Mock Position: No. 42
Size: 6'4", 199 lbs
Age: 23
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Seth Curry, Alec Burks

Chaz Lanier has been somewhat streaky, although that should be expected based on his shot diet. When he does enter one of those classic heat zones, he's capable of taking over stretches playing off the ball by drilling jumpers with his quick release off transition, contested spot-ups, screens and handoffs.
Not many other players have a usage over 30.0 percent and assist percentage below 10.0 percent. But there won't be any mistaking Lanier's potential purpose and role at the next level. A career 41.2 percent three-point shooter with a diverse shotmaking profile, teams will eye him in the second round for a scoring specialist job.

41. Oklahoma City Thunder (via Hawks): Darrion Williams (Texas Tech, SG/SF)

41 of 59
Texas Tech v Kansas State

Previous mock position: No. 43
Size: 6'6", 225 lbs
Age: 21
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Kevin McCullar Jr.

Darrion Williams is slumping, but Texas Tech keeps winning anyway, and he's already established a coveted archetype with the skill set to shoot and pass at 6'6". His path to an NBA role is offering the combination of shotmaking, smart ball-moving and wing defense.

42. Orlando Magic: Jamir Watkins (Florida State, SF/SF)

42 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 01 Florida State at Boston College

Previous mock position: No. 44

Size: 6'7", 210 lbs
Age: 23
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Caris LeVert
Jamir Watkins just surpassed last year's three-point total, a notable development for a playmaking wing that guards multiple positions.
He's been more aggressive looking for his shot and imposing his physical tools on opponents. Shooting will continue to be viewed as a swing skill, but given how effective he can be at 6'7", 210 pounds handling the ball, scoring in the lane, passing and defending, this year's 1.8 threes made per game could be enough to move the needle.

43. Golden State Warriors (via Heat): Johni Broome (Auburn, C)

43 of 59
Florida v Auburn

Previous Mock Position: No. 53
Size: 6'10", 240 lbs
Age: 22
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Markieff Morris

Johni Broome's NCAA-leading BPM is telling, particularly after he finished third last year behind lottery picks Zach Edey and Donovan Clingan. He should have NBA suitors who see a role-player outcome based on the impact and translatability of his physical tools, rebounding, finishing, passing and toughness.

Teams have likely seen enough of Broome to consider him in the second round, where it's easier to ignore questions about upside.

44. Washington Wizards (via Warriors): Miles Byrd (San Diego State, SG/SF)

44 of 59
San Diego State v New Mexico

Previous Mock Position: No. 33
Size: 6'7", 190 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparisons: Patrick McCaw

Miles Byrd emerged as a breakout prospect to monitor with three-point shotmaking, pick-and-roll passing and defensive playmaking. He's down to 44.4 percent on two-point attempts, which is worrisome. There should still be interest in a 6'7", three-and-D wing who's also been very effective generating offense as a pick-and-roll ball-handler, but he may eventually need a strong NBA combine against other pro prospects to fully sell scouts.

45. Chicago Bulls (via Kings): Walter Clayton Jr. (Florida, PG/SG)

45 of 59
Florida v Auburn

Previous Mock Position: No. 46

Size: 6'3", 195 lbs
Age: 21
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Fred VanVleet

Walter Clayton Jr. went for 19 points and nine assists in Florida's win over No. 1 Auburn. He's been the engine behind the Gators' impressive season with his 2.7 threes, 4.0 assists and efficient driving.
Shotmaking will always be his moneymaker at the next level, though he's been far more effective finishing and playmaking, which could help scouts put more stock into his craftiness/skill over an archetype (6'3" scoring guard) that doesn't have the highest success rate at the next level.

46. Washington Wizards (via Suns): Johann Grunloh (SC Rasta Vechta, C)

46 of 59
Galatasaray v Rasta Vechta - Basketball Champions League

Previous Mock Position: No. 45
Size: 6'11"
Age: 19
Nationality: Germany
Pro Comparison: Luke Kornet

Johann Grunloh's 39.1 percent three-point mark and 7.7 block percentage highlight a coveted mix of offensive floor-spacing and rim protection. He's emerged as another worthwhile prospect to track in the German League, where he's playing more minutes than any other teenager.
His success and skill set in the pick-and-roll/pop game, plus the defensive tools/flashes, should at least earn Grunloh an invite to May's NBA combine.

47. Washignton Wizards (via Pistons): Joan Beringer (Cedevita, C)

47 of 59
SLOVENIA-LJUBLJANA-BASKETBALL-BKT EUROCUP REGULAR SEASON-CEDEVITA OLIMPIJA VS VALENCIA BASKET

Previous Mock Position: No. 55
Size: 6'11"
Age: 18
Nationality: France
Pro Comparison: Jericho Sims

Potentially one of the youngest players in the 2025 draft, Joan Beringer has entered the conversation with his 7.7 block percentage and sequences defending in space.
He's also scoring more lately, using his physical tools to finish plays off dump-downs, drives to the basket and missed shots. Beringer isn't an offensive threat, but he could look like an interesting enough rim protector to draft-and-stash.

48. Utah Jazz (via Mavericks): JT Toppin (New Mexico, PF)

48 of 59
Texas Tech v Cincinnati

Previous Mock Position: No. 47
Size: 6'9", 225 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Precious Achiuwa

Per 40 minutes, JT Toppin is up to 25.4 points, 14.4 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.5 steals. Though there aren't many paths to upside for a 6'9" post player with limited shooting range and handles, there could be certain teams that buy Toppin's production and see the short-range touch, finishes, offensive rebounding and defensive playmaking translating to a frontcourt hustle/energy role.

49. Cleveland Cavaliers (via Bucks): Ryan Kalkbrenner (Creighton, C)

49 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 05 Creighton at Providence

Previous mock position: No. 48
Size: 7'1", 220 lbs
Age: 23
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Colin Castleton

Ryan Kalkbrenner's strongest NBA pitch of the season came during his 26-point game against Butler when he hit three three-pointers and blocked six shots.
His numbers have still been similar for the past few years now, and they haven't generated too much interest from scouts. Keeping that three-point mark around 40.0 percent figures to be his most powerful ticket to top-45 draft looks.

50. Utah Jazz (via Clippers): Joson Sanon (Arizona State, PG/SG)

50 of 59
Arizona v Arizona State

Previous Mock Position: No. 41
Size: 6'5"
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro comparison: Cole Anthony

Joson Sanon scored in double-figures on Sunday for the first since December 3. He's still at 39.3 percent from three for the season, and tape of advanced shotmaking dates back to high school and the Adidas circuit. Shooting is his ticket to the NBA, though minimal rim pressure and poor finishing remain problematic.

51. Los Angeles Clippers (via Timberwolves): Rocco Zikarsky (Brisbane, C)

51 of 59
NBL Rd 12 - Sydney Kings v Brisbane Bullets

Previous Mock Position: No. 49
Size: 7'2", 227 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: Australia
Pro Comparisons: Donovan Clingan
A knee injury has kept Rocco Zikarsky out, a tough blow with little time for the big man to salvage what's been a relatively unproductive season. Age, size and junior-level impact will still earn him looks and front-office discussion before the draft. Certain teams may be willing to stay patient and see second-round value in a 7'2" 18-year-old who gets you second-chance points and still has intriguing defensive upside. But his image and projection have taken hits this year.

52. Indiana Pacers: Xaivian Lee (Princeton, PG)

52 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: DEC 21 Never Forget Tribute Classic Princeton vs Rutgers

Previous mock position: No. 50

Size: 6'4", 180 lbs
Age: 20
Nationality: Canada
Pro Comparison: Scottie Pippen Jr.

NBA teams could value Lee's ability to create, generate gravity and put pressure on defenses. He's been relentless with his handle and desire to get downhill or put defenses on their heels.
Shooting 37.5 percent from three on the year and averaging a career-best 5.4 assists, he's showing improvement in the key areas.

53. Los Angeles Lakers: Eric Dixon (Villanova, PF)

53 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 09 Xavier at Villanova

Previous mock position: No. 51
Size: 6'8", 265 lbs
Age: 23
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Luka Garza

Eric Dixon has been an offensive machine this year churning out 20-plus-point games on the regular. His role and usage will change jumping from Villanova to the NBA, but the incredible new shotmaking skill he's added this year gives him a better chance at the next level.
Making 3.1 threes per game, he's converted a 24-of-37 pick-and-pop opportunities. And it continues to look unusual watching a 265-pound forward drill jumpers so efficiently off the dribble and screens.

54. Memphis Grizzlies (via Rockets): Mouhamed Faye (Reggio Emelia, C)

54 of 59
UNAHOTELS Reggio Emilia v GeVi Napoli Basket - Frecciarossa Final Eight 2024 Semifinal

Previous mock position: No. 54
Size: 6'10"
Age: 19
Nationality: Senegal
Pro Comparison: Usman Garuba

Interesting mostly for shot-blocking and defensive versatility, Mouhamed Faye has been getting more out of his physical tools and motor on offense. He's scored double figures in four of six games by getting himself open off rolls and crashing the glass.
But the obvious draw to Faye is how he slides his feet at 6'10". Opponents struggle to create separation, hit jumpers over him and beat him in closeout situations.

55. Phoenix Suns (via Nuggets): Dailyn Swain (Xavier, SF)

55 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 09 Xavier at Villanova

Previous mock position: No. 57
Size: 6'8", 220 lbs
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Andre Jackson Jr., Ryan Dunn

Despite no signs of improved shooting, Dailyn Swain is finding more ways to score and produce this year with his athleticism, short-range touch and passing. At 6'8", 220 pounds, the open-floor finishing, rim pressure and defense could work for certain NBA rotations. Depending on Swain's individual goals, he could also return for another year to add more range and try to enter the 2026 first-round discussion.

56. New York Knicks (via Grizzlies): Hunter Sallis (Wake Forest, SG)

56 of 59
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: FEB 05 Wake Forest at Stanford

Previous mock position: No. 55
Size: 6'5", 185 lbs
Age: 21
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Malaki Branham, Tim Hardaway Jr.

Hunter Sallis' big scoring outputs can be clouded by inconsistent shooting and limited playmaking. He also receives little help at Wake Forest, resulting in a shot-hunting mentality and contested looks.

Sallis is averaging 18.4 points despite shooting just 29.4 percent from three, a notable drop from last season's 40.5 percent mark. He may not offer much off the ball, but there could be a scoring-specialist role with a pull-up game that's resulted in Sallis making 55.8 percent of his mid-range shots, 44 percent of his floaters and 48 percent on total dribble jumpers.

57. Orlando Magic (via Rockets): Tyrese Proctor (Duke, PG/SG)

57 of 59
Duke v Clemson

Previous mock position: No. 52
Size: 6'6", 183 lbs
Age: 20
Nationality: Australia
Pro Comparison: Killian Hayes

Playmaking duties have been mostly taken away from Tyrese Proctor this year. Still, shooting and passing IQ could be worth gambling on late for a combo-guard connector role.

58. Cleveland Cavaliers: Donovan Dent (New Mexico, PG)

58 of 59
Colorado State v New Mexico

Previous mock position: Off the board
Size: 6'2", 185 lbs
Age: 21
Nationality: USA
Pro Comparison: Ish Smith

Shooting has kept Donovan Dent from generating NBA buzz, but the level at which he's able to penetrate, finish and distribute should lower the bar. He's also threatening enough with his mid-range pull-up and floater, and games like Saturday's, when he hit three three-pointers versus Air Force, should remind scouts that Dent does have capable shotmaking skill.

59. Houston Rockets (via Thunder): Zvonimir Ivisic (Arkansas, PF/C)

59 of 59
Oklahoma v Arkansas

Team: Arkansas
Position: C
Size: 7'2", 245 lbs
Age: 21
Nationality: Croatia
Pro Comparison: Andrea Bargnani

A rare, valued mix of 7'2" size, shooting potential and defensive length should help scouts look past Zvonimir Ivisic's lack of quickness and explosion.
He may only be useful for a specialty role at the next level, but at 42.4 percent shooting from deep with a 11.1 block percentage, he'll continue to be worth thinking about as a possible second-round stretch 5.
